Choosing your Grow Tent

First some background: Why Indoor Gardening?

Indoor gardening, using grow tents is a “blossoming” hobby and pastime. Not only for the fun of growing and the ability to watch your garden grow, but when it’s over you have fresh herbs, vegetables and in many states, your own legal cannabis! At HDG we realized that the grow tents market was not catering to this new thriving pastime. With less people being able to afford to own or rent a house, a yard with a garden out back has become less of an option. So how can you grow table, stove or pipe ready plants indoors.

Traditional grow tents were more focused on the concept of growing indoors, nothing about aesthetics or optimum performance. The majority were and are still big black boxes that look like the nside of a tanning bed when you open them up.

We took a completely different approach, and while focused on the excitement around indoor cannabis growing, we also saw down the road and realized we could incorporate attributes which are good for both cannabis and “regular” garden herbs and vegetables.

We focused on appearance as well as strive for better crop results than you achieve from the current black metallic boxes. Welcome to HDG HighDroGro grow tents the first step into creating a beautiful and usable indoor garden.

A Primary consideration when shopping for a grow tent is…
Location, Location, Location!

How much space do you have to allocate to your indoor garden?

Since any room in your house can be a good fit for your tent, it’s helpful to pick out your ideal spot first. Once you have that in mind you can determine how much space you have for your tent.

Our “small grow tent” category contains the first two tent sizes we launched. The Stash Box, aka Sbox and the Dream Box, aka Dbox.

In the same year they were launched, the Stash Box was awarded, 2018 Grow Tent of the Year by High Times magazine. Danny Danko, then editor-in-chief, of High Times magazine remarked, “The Stash Box tent fulfills the dream I’ve had for 30 years that everyone should have the ability to grow 3-4 plants all year around in their own home!”

HDG Small Grow Tents

The Sbox at 2’x3’x5’5″ and the Dbox at 2’x4’x5’5″ these small but mighty grow tents fit very easily into any room in your home. Den, office, bedroom, game room, you name it. And with massive windows on three sides the HDG Grow Tent will brighten any space, and will be a sure attention grabber. The HDG HighDroGro brand was designed and developed for the curious, “it’s legal now, I want to grow my own,” first time growers. Basically, the same people as I was when California become recreationally legal in 2016. Although I had many outdoor gardens over the years, I had no indoor garden experience.

The grow tents we designed, are top of the line in the grow tent market, for materials, engineering, manufacturing and design. These tents will last many, many grow seasons. We literally have customers who are still using the tents that they bought in 2018!

HDG Large Grow Tents

This leaves our largest tents the HDG44 and HDG55. These are our biggest tents and are intended for the serious home growing enthusiast.

The release of these two grow tents, once again took the industry by surprise. Having listened to our professional growers and breeders we launched the first ever 4×4 and 5×5 grow tents with three full sized doors. Each door, of course, containing massive roll up windows.

The input we had gotten was about access. In order to reach the back of their 4×4 or 5×5 tents they would have to walk into the tent. Having three full access doors eliminated that problem. See for yourself!.
